DESCRIPTION:SOLIDAR Foundation is pleased to invite you to a Policy Roundta
 ble along with national and European experts and policymakers\, to identif
 y the challenges at the policy level related to Global Citizenship Educati
 on (GCE) and democratic participation.\nThe aim is to frame GCE as an enab
 ler of democratic participation\, as without it\, understanding the interc
 onnectedness of national\, European and global issues and the role of inst
 itutions like the EU is not possible\, with the attendant impact on democr
 atic participation. The results of the roundtable will guide the research 
 on the connection between GCE and democratic participation\, with evidence
 -based policy recommendations presented at the Thematic Annual Conference
